In addition to beautiful design, a modern fireplace is also expected to have the ability to store heat – so the fireplace not only creates a milieu, but also has a practical function.

Germany’s largest and leading fireplace manufacturer Spartherm is able to offer customers both. Spartherm’s Linear series of fireplaces is gaining popularity, which embodies both aesthetics based on a minimalist concept and opportunities to find practical applications for fireplaces.
Linear series fireplaces are characterized by a design where the visible part of the fireplace is modest and linear: the eye enjoys the burning fire, the fireplace itself does not dominate the interior.
During the latest innovations, Linear series fireplaces have been produced without the metal subframe and handle of the front glass. The safety and hermetic sealing of the fireplace are ensured by Spartherm’s patented soft-close system.

Additional devices help save
In today’s conditions, people are increasingly thinking about saving. This includes when choosing a fireplace. Spartherm has created several devices based on the need to save that help store heat and, if necessary, heat water using the fireplace.
The Thermobox, which is placed on the fireplace core, takes up little space and helps store heat, so that enjoying the fireplace is not limited to the time when the flames delight the eye. The heat storage time reaches five hours. This carefully uses the heat energy that would otherwise go into the chimney as flue gas.
In the case of the device called Magnetherm, stones store heat. Stones containing magnesite are not inferior to the well-known soapstone in terms of their heat storage properties, the heat storage time is 8-12 hours. Stones are placed around the fireplace core.
